Don't worry. I'm here to deliver.

After many long months of daydreaming research, and being generally lazy, I'm ready to begin working on one of my many manga/comic projects. So, if you've been needing a fresh, new series to dig your teeth into, I've got the goods.

The name of the series is Cliché - Not Another Fairy Tale! This will be a predominantly comedic gag manga that parodies many of the clichés found in the average fairy tale, as well as many other clichés and popular stories/movies/video games/manga. The plot will still have elements of an action/adventure manga, as well, so don't think it will just be a gag-fest. And, knowing myself, it will probably have a fair amount of romance in it too, as I'm a hopeless romantic. The manga is designed for the shōnen demographic, so expect all the awesomeness and archetypes form your favorite shōnen manga. Because, come on, really; who doesn't love shōnen manga?

Anyway, the plot revolves around our main character, Treble, a cynical 17-year-old teenager who hates romantic and fanciful clichés and prefers to be alone and avoid becoming involved in any kind of problem. Accompanying him is a shy, ditsy 16-year-old girl named Carol who has lost her voice and travels with Treble in hope of finding a way to recover it. That, and the fact she has fallen in love with him. Their lack of luck eventually finds them broke, and they end up on the side of a road in the middle of nowhere on the outskirts of a giant forest, where two unusual-looking little girls find them and plead for their help in rescuing their princess, Prelude, much to Treble's dismay and annoyance. This begins the onslaught of clichés he runs into, and upon rescuing the princess, their misadventures begin as they try to protect her from the many villains and deliver her back to her family safely, from which Treble hopes to profit from financially. Along the way, they meet many friends and foes alike, and are confronted with the numerous clichés any good(?) fairy tale can't do without, while unraveling a much deeper, darker plot that none of them could have prepared themselves for.

Well, I just got here, but I do tend to draw a lot, so, hopefully, I'll have more art in the coming week. Most of it will be art for comics that I'm working on, but, I guess I'll have to actually post some pages before I get any real attention.

Maybe I need publicity... Nah, Charu-chan gave me that. Patience, I suppose...

Well, for those of you who like what little art I've posted, I'll have actual pages of the comics that the art is based on soon, possibly by tomorrow. So... stay tuned, I guess.
